Description: This data comes from the Natural Heritage Information Centre (NHIC) and has been shared by the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry (MNDMNRF). Plant communities are very rich along the coastal area of the Great Lakes, and it is essential to track and preserve rare/endangered plant communities to retain rich biodiversity.This feature was modified by Environment and Climate Change on July 29th, 2021 and was projected/clipped to the needs of the 2021 Lake Ontario Canadian Baseline Coastal Habitat Survey.
