European Common Reed, also known as <\/span>Phragmites australis ssp. australis<\/span> is an invasive plant species in the Great Lakes Basin and is a major threat to wetland biodiversity. <\/span><\/p> This phragmites feature class is a combination of data from Michigan Tech Research Institute (MTRI) and the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry (MNDMNRF). <\/span><\/p> This feature class was modified by Environment and Climate Change Canada on May 31st, 2021, and was projected/clipped to the needs of the 2021 Lake Ontario Canadian Baseline Coastal Habitat Survey.<\/span><\/p> <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>",
